Cooking – A Reflection of Culture 2012

The project Cooking – A Reflection of Culture in Freiberg (Germany) focused on the art of cooking as a reflection of culture. The 25 participants, aged between 18 and 25, got to know recipes and cooking traditions from other countries. They also discussed the influence of agricultural, traditional, religious and ecological aspects in the shaping of their countries’ current culture. Furthermore, outdoor activities and excursions took place, in order to stimulate the team spirit and solidary, with the perception of cultural differences and mutual tolerance being strengthened through cultural evenings.

Participating countries: Greece, Romania, Spain, Turkey and Germany
