  |   News

In the evening hours of June 10th, 11th and 14th 2021, a new online training on community media competences in the context of fake news was held as part of the WIRES-CROSSED project. Although participants were introduced to all topics of the developed set of resources throughout the workshop, the focus was on the topic of “Media Production Skills”. Hence, it was for example discussed how to take good pictures with smartphones, how to produce a podcast and what to bear in mind when blogging. Moreover, participants learned how to use the extensive range of online available learning and teaching materials – this will enable them to stay engaged even after this training. The group of participants included teachers as well as volunteers that all had a common interest in community media. We want to sincerely thank all of them: not just for caring about this topic, but also for being actively engaged throughout the entire training!
