Do you want to unlock the talents of young NEETs (Not in Employment, Education or Training) to equip them with digital and soft skills for their future?

 

Do you want to improve your digital skills as a youth worker?

 

Then, you should not miss JKPeV’s intensive training about using digital media in youth work which is free of charge! This training is part of the European project “ACTION – “Unlocking the Talents of Marginalised Youth in a Digital Media Environment” which aims to support youth workers, trainers and volunteers to develop their skills and boost their confidence in using filmmaking, digital and social media with the aim of engaging young people and young people that are not in education, employment and training in meaningful educational activities and projects.

 

When? 14-17 September from 16:00-20:00

Where? At KulturCentrale, Hechtstr. 17, 01097 Dresden

Cost? The costs of this training are covered by the Erasmus+ programme of the EU

 

 

The topics that this training is going to cover are the following:

  • Short introduction to  non-formal learning methods and non-traditional environments
  • Online safety for digital youth work
  • Using social media and digital media to engage NEETs in educational activities
  • Developing a script and a story board
  • Scheduling filming activities
  • Selecting a topic and preparing the shooting
  • Shooting a short film using smartphones
  • Editing and other post-production techniques

 

The event will be held in German language.
