Round two of our intensive workshop “Filmmaking skills for beginners”
On 11-13 October 2021 the 2nd round of the film making training “Filmmaking skills for beginners” was held at KulturCentrale within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 project “ACTION – Unlocking the Talents of Marginalized Youth in a Digital Media Environment”. A group of highly engaged participants gathered at KulturCentrale by JKPeV, where they were introduced to the art of filmmaking using smartphones and open-source software. Once the project’s priorities, goals, results and the e-learning platform were presented by the trainer, Jara Marder, then Olga Yocheva, the filmmaker of JKPeV, took over for the practical part of the training. Divided into small groups, the participants were introduced to all phases of a digital media production including for example writing a script, drawing a storyboard, shooting videos and using post-production software for cutting and editing. We would like to thank all participants for their commitment and hard work, thanks to which each of the three teams was able to produce a short movie by the end of this workshop!
