Sport for all – Training in Amsterdam

  |   Events, News, Opportunities

Join the European Training Events on active participation through inclusive sport on 29-30 April & 1 May 2022 in Amsterdam!

The aim of the training event is to support people actively involved in sport, like trainers, teachers or activists, to organise inclusive and sustainable sporting events with a European dimension.

This training event is part of the European project “ACTIVE” (Erasmus+ Programme, KA3: European Youth Together) whose main goal is to promote the European youth goals and the future EU youth policies through the implementation of inclusive and sustainable grassroots sports activities. The project partner organisations are the European network FARE for Fairness in Football, the European Network for Sports Education ENSE, ASSIST (national organisation for female athletes of Italy), GEA from Italy, KMOP from Greece, DOTS from Portugal and Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.V. from Germany.

The main topics of the training events are the following: 1) The EU Youth Policies and EU Youth Goals, 2) Intercultural skills for coaching, and 3) Skills to organise inclusive sport sessions and events.

If you are active in sports, you are a sport coach or an activist and you are interested in the ACTIVE project and the European Youth Goals, then you are more than welcome to apply for this exciting training event in Amsterdam! You should ideally not be older then 35 (although exceptions can be made).

This way, you will have the opportunity to participate in the online project presentation meeting on 19th of April 2022 and take part in the training events for coaches and activists in Amsterdam on 29-30 April and 1 May.

After joining the training events, you will be ready to organise together with the “ACTIVE Network” partners sport events and become a local ambassador for youth policy and inclusive sport

Finally, after collecting so many experiences from the ACTIVE project and the ACTIVE Network, we would like to have your support on providing recommendations from young sportsmen and sportswomen to the European Commission so that we can bring a change to Europe!
