Despite a little rain, we embraced the first summer night with full volume at our COPE project, blending it harmoniously with Fête de la Musique!
Last Friday marked our debut hosting Fête de la Musique at KulturCentrale. We were thrilled to feature not one, but two incredible acts: the choir Singt Pauli and the band Canelazo.
Originating in France in the 1980s, Fête de la Musique has been a cultural mainstay every June 21st. In Dresden, Institut Français has coordinated this celebration for 21 years, making it a pivotal event in our city’s musical calendar.
This festival perfectly aligned with our European project COPE, which focuses on enhancing emotional well-being through innovative approaches like music therapy and peer support. COPE aims to empower young people to cope with anxiety and stress through creative and supportive means.
