The Full Moon Gallery in mysterious light

  |   Events, News

On the evening of September 7th, the Full Moon Gallery opened its doors for Katja Tomzig’s exhibition “Facets of Creation”.

While a total lunar eclipse unfolded, the Dresden-based artist invited us to explore a realm beyond the visible – bursting with color and inhabited by fantastical beings.
With egg tempera, watercolors, coffee, and boundless creativity, she shapes a poetic visual world that brings the hidden to light. In the Full Moon Gallery, visitors could encounter the enigmatic creatures concealed within the structures, stains, and textures of her paintings.
These are hopeful visions from another world—images that, as author Matthias Stresow emphasized in the opening speech, are exactly what our world needs right now.
You can still experience the works free of charge at the Full Moon Gallery until October 6, 2025!
