In October, we visited Sachsenrich Secondary School in Hohenstein-Ernstthal and held three workshops with Year 6 pupils on the topic of ‘Recognising and combating fake news’.

Together, we explored the question of how misinformation arises, how to recognise it and what strategies help to remain critical online. With many examples from everyday life and exciting exercises, it became clear that media literacy is in demand – and is even really fun!

A big thank you to the curious and enthusiastic pupils at Sachsenrich Secondary School! We are already looking forward to further workshops on digital civil courage and democratic participation. ✨
