News from the MediaDemocracyHub!

This week, our 6-part workshop series at Semper Oberschule Dresden came to an end. The students of the Democracy Class learned how to identify fake news, use social media safely, understand questions of digital ethics, and actively engage in society using simple tools as well as media production. We discussed how digital participation and civic engagement can be actively practiced in everyday school life.

Together, we developed concrete actions, conducted a school-wide survey, and created digital media outputs that can now be applied in school life. This allowed students to put their knowledge directly into practice and build a strong foundation to further develop and apply it sustainably in the future.

We thank all the dedicated participants!

The project is funded by the Free State of Saxony and co-financed by the European Union.
