From Ideas to Exhibitions: V.E.G.A. Artworks Now on Display
The V.E.G.A. artworks are now finding their place in shared spaces across Europe.
After the launch of the virtual exhibition, the works have moved beyond the digital sphere and are now being presented in local exhibitions across partner countries, inviting audiences to engage with them in person.
Created by young people from across Europe, the artworks explore the European Youth Goals through a variety of creative formats, including zines, comics, photography, graphic design, graffiti, and video. Each piece reflects personal experiences, ideas, and questions, turning important topics into visual and accessible stories.
A First Stop: Stadtforum Dresden
The journey began at Stadtforum Dresden, where the artworks were presented within an event dedicated to youth voices, participation, and social change. Surrounded by discussions, and exchanges, the exhibition became part of a wider conversation on how young people understand their role in society and how they can actively shape it.
In this setting, the artworks were not only displayed, but also engaged with and sparking dialogue on education, civic participation, and the realities young people navigate today.
Continuing at KulturCentrale
The exhibition continues at KulturCentrale, where the artworks are on display from 2 April until the end of May.
Bringing the exhibition into this local cultural space allows the works to connect with new audiences and situates them within Dresden’s artistic landscape. The opening was held alongside the vernissage of a local artist, creating an encounter between different artistic practices and perspectives.
This moment highlighted the role of art as a shared language, one that can connect personal experiences with broader social questions, and create space for reflection and dialogue.
A Collective Perspective
Alongside the seven artworks created by JKPeV participants during the graphic design workshops, the exhibition also features works developed by the V.E.G.A. participants across Europe. Together, they offer a rich and diverse view on the European Youth Goals, shaped by different contexts, experiences, and artistic approaches.
Throughout the exhibition moments, visitors were invited to engage not only with the physical works, but also with the virtual exhibition, creating a link between the digital and physical dimensions of the project.
Visit the Exhibition
We warmly invite you to visit the exhibition at KulturCentrale in Dresden until the end of May.
A larger V.E.G.A. event will also take place on 1st of May at KulturCentrale. We would be happy to welcome you there!
If visiting in person is not possible, you can still explore the artworks online through the virtual exhibition here and discover the ideas and stories behind each piece.
