About This Project

Art & Spectacles 2011

The project Art & Spectacles was an eight-day youth exchange that supported the sociocultural dialogue between the participants through acting. 25 young people from five countries met and worked together in workshops thereby practising their creativity in acting and their entrepreneurial abilities for a future career as an actor/actress.
Two workshop leaders for drama and improvisation theatre and one leader for dance supported the participants. All workshops and activities were based on the concept of non-formal education. In the evenings, cultural performances of the participating countries were presented.
The highlight of this project was the creation of a public performance. This was presented, one time in the theatre Projekt Theater and one time in the creative community Kukulida.
