Since 2010 and within the framework of the European Cupola United project, Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.V annually invites young artists to Dresden to engage in such forms of performing arts as jugglery, acrobatics, dance, pantomime and clownery.
In this ten-day long European exchange project the 25 participants, aged between 18 and 30, develop a show under the guidance of a professional artist which they later present in nursery schools, the jugglery-convention of Dresden and in a great street parade.
Because of their common work both in front and behind the stage the young artists learn a sensitive and constructive way to associate with each other.
Through their immersion in the performing arts, dance and acrobatics, the participants evolve their creativity and their artistic abilities.
Project venue: Langebrück and Dresden
Participating countries: Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain and Germany
This project was funded by the European programme YOUTH IN ACTION and Wir für Sachsen.
