About This Project

IMYFA – International Meeting of Young Fire Artists 2009

The participants from Bulgaria and Germany developed in workshops juggling with three or four balls and cudgels and the use of a poi and rod turnings for advanced people. Additionally to the art and juggling workshops the participants got instructions in fire and danger protection, as well as the safe handling of fire.
The highlight of this meeting was the ability to present the results of the workshops -a theatre and dance performance- in front of an audience. The participants presented their outcome on an open stage in a gala show.
