Jüdisches Leben in Sachsen sichtbar machen
About This Project
Jüdisches Leben in Sachsen sichtbar machen
Workshops against Anti-Semitism
30 months (January 2024 – June 2026)
Anti-Semitism is still prevalent in Dresden and the rest of Saxony today. In order to counteract this form of group-focused enmity, it’s crucial to acquire solid knowledge on Jewish history, traditions and customs – including beyond the Holocaust. The aim of the project “Jüdisches Leben in Sachsen” is to develop new forms of memory, raise awareness on antisemitism and to support innovative methods to combat hate and discrimination. Local competence building and awareness-raising are key components of the project.
The project “Jüdisches Leben in Sachsen” is committed to dismantling anti-semitic behaviours, prejudices and narratives in Saxon society and to promoting better understanding of Jewish culture and history.
