NEUSTADT ART FESTIVAL @ KulturCentrale am 23. September ab 14:00 Uhr

Im Rahmen des Neustadt Art Festivals und des Dresden Contemporary Art Rundgangs DCA~OPEN öffnet die KulturCentrale am 23. September ihre Tore. Euch erwartet ein facettenreiches Programm aus Kunst, Live-Musik, Kunstmarkt und weiteren Performances. Wir freuen uns aus euch.

12:00 – 02:00 

FACES – Ausstellung von Ric Uhlmann

Erst vier Jahre ist es her, dass der junge Dresdner Künstler das Zeichnen mit Bleistift und Kohle für sich entdeckt hat. Fernab der klassischen Kunstausbildung, begann seine Reise als Künstler mit dem einfachen Besuch in einem Schreibwarenladen. Ein Impuls verleitete ihn zum Kauf eines Bleistiftes und eines Skizzenblocks – die Faszination für Gesichter und deren mannigfaltige Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten formten ihn als Portraitzeichner. Für Ric Uhlmann ist jeder Mensch einzigartig und vielfältig. Das ist was er in seinen Zeichnungen und mit seinem ganz persönlichen Kunststil widerspiegeln möchte.

Kunstmarkt

Neben der Kunstausstellung FACES von Ric Uhlmann, Livemusik, Performances und DJs lädt euch die KulturCentrale am 23. September im Rahmen des Neustadt Art Festivals von 14:00 – 22:00 Uhr zu einem Kunstmarkt. Lokale KünstlerInnen bieten ein Potpourri verschiedener Kunsthandwerke an, wie Drucke, Fotos, Postkarten, Schmuck und noch vieles mehr.

18:00 Uhr – Live-Musik: Chris Padera

(Punkrock-getriebener Indie-Folk)

Geschichten über lange Nächte, Lieder über die Sehnsucht nach der Fremde, stets auf der Suche nach Halt und Wärme. Sei es der erste Whiskey am Tresen oder der letzte Gruß am Bahngleis, Chris Padera lässt tief einblicken in seine vom Folk, Country und Blues inspirierten Songs. Auf seiner Reise vergisst er nie seine im Punk Rock verwurzelte Seele und erzählt persönliche Anekdoten auf einer rauen und gleichzeitig zerbrechlichen Art.

19:00 Uhr – Live-Musik: Cornelia Vranceanu 

(Singer/Songwriter)

Mal düster, mal zart, zerbrechlich oder wild. Die Melodien von Cornelia Vranceanu haben viele Facetten, sind aber immer emotional und tiefgreifend. So wie das Leben oder die Liebe. Darum geht es auch in den Liedern. Mit kindlichem Trotz und gleichzeitig präsenter Frauenstimme werden die Hochs und Tiefs von vergangenen Amouren mit Klavier und Akkordeon untermalt, tragen aber auch ohne Gesang diese Geschichten weiter.

Einflüsse von Yann Tiersen oder Regina Spektor sind unverkennbar, treffen aber auch immer wieder auf Courtney Love. Als wäre Tinkerbell erwachsen geworden.

20:00 Uhr – Live-Musik: Martin Lixendfeld

(Singer-Songwriter)

Von der Magie der Worte und der Stimme direkt zum Gefühl, unterstützt von akustischen Gitarren und wenig mehr. Geschichten aus persönlichen Erleben in denen Andere sich wiederfinden können: Liebe, oft nicht genug, verlorene und wiedergefundene Liebe, zu früh oder zu spät gesprochen, Zufälle unglücklicher und manchmal glücklicher Art. Geschichten, die das Leben schreibt. Gewürzt mit einigen amerikanischen Klassikern. Akustischer Singer / Songwriter Pop mit Country- und Gospel-Einflüssen und fein ausgetüfteltem akustischen Sound.

21:00 Uhr – Live-Musik: Remo Devago

(Singer-Songwriter)

Remo Devago. Aus dem Wohnzimmer über die Straße auf die Bühne: Irgendwo zwischen scharfer Anklage, ironischer Selbstbetrachtung und glorifizierter Kneipenromantik – mal leise, mal laut – besingt er Geschichten, die das Leben schreibt. Texte mit Tiefgang in einem Balanceakt aus alltäglichen Lebensrealitäten und fantastischer Utopie. “Träumen und träumen lassen” oder “einfach mal machen” ist hier das Motto. Endresultat ist eine akustische Mischung aus Folk-Pop, Akustik-Punk und Liedermacherei.

FACES – Exhibition by Ric Uhlmann

It was only four years ago that the young Dresden artist discovered drawing with pencil and charcoal. Far from classical art training, his journey as an artist began with a simple visit to a stationery shop. An impulse led him to buy a pencil and a sketchpad – the fascination for faces and their manifold possibilities of expression formed him as a portrait draughtsman. For Ric Uhlmann, every person is unique and diverse. This is what he wants to reflect in his drawings and with his very personal artistic style.

In addition to the art exhibition FACES by Ric Uhlmann, live music, performances and DJs, the KulturCentrale invites you to an art market on 23 September from 14:00 – 22:00 as part of the Neustadt Art Festival. Local artists will offer a potpourri of different arts and crafts, such as prints, photos, postcards, jewellery and much more.

Whether it’s the first whiskey at the bar or the last greeting at the railway track, Chris Padera lets us look deep into his songs inspired by folk, country and blues. On his journey, he never forgets his soul rooted in punk rock and tells personal anecdotes in a raw yet fragile way.

(Singer/Songwriter)

Sometimes sombre, sometimes tender, fragile or wild. Cornelia Vranceanu’s melodies have many facets, but are always emotional and profound. Just like life or love. That is also what the songs are about. With childlike defiance and at the same time a present female voice, the highs and lows of past amours are accompanied by piano and accordion, but they also carry on these stories without singing.

Influences by Yann Tiersen or Regina Spektor are unmistakable, but also repeatedly encounter Courtney Love. As if Tinkerbell had grown up.

Remo Devago. From the living room across the street onto the stage: somewhere between sharp accusation, ironic introspection and glorified pub romance – sometimes quietly, sometimes loudly – he sings about stories that life writes. Lyrics with depth in a balancing act of everyday life realities and fantastic utopia. “Dream and let dream” or “just do it” is the motto here. The end result is an acoustic mixture of folk-pop, acoustic-punk and songwriting.
