DESCRIPTION:DE— \nWELTUNTER\nAusstellung von Danny Hermann \nIn der Ausstellung WELTUNTER präsentiert der Maler und Grafiker Danny Hermann vom 24. April bis 22. Mai in der Full Moon Gallery seine facettenreichen Werke. Der Dresdner Künstler malt in Öl und arbeitet grafisch mit Tusche oder mit dem Hochdruckverfahren des Holzschnitts. In seinem künstlerischen Schaffen navigiert Danny Hermann durch die Turbulenzen einer modernen Epoche im Umbruch. Sein besonderes Interesse gilt der Dualität der künstlichen Intelligenz\, der Ambivalenz der sozialen Medien und den akuten Umweltproblemen – alles Themen\, die vor unserer Haustür stehen und bereit sind\, in den Raum einzudringen. Der Künstler schöpft in seinen Werken aus einer tiefen Ästhetik\, die nicht nur seine Bildsprache bereichert\, sondern auch seine inhaltliche Auseinandersetzung prägt. Inspiration findet Danny Hermann in den emotional aufgeladenen Werken von Edward Munch\, Marianne von Werefkin und Wolfgang Petrick sowie in den Einflüssen seines ehemaligen Professors Ralf Kerbach. Seine figurativen Elemente öffnen ein Fenster in eine Welt\, in der Emotion und Reflexion eine eigene Sprache sprechen. \nDanny Hermann schloss sein Kunststudium 2016 an der Hochschule für bildende Künste in Dresden ab (HfbK) und war anschließend bis 2019 Meisterschüler bei Prof. Ralf Kerbach (HfbK). The Dresden-based artist paints in oil and works graphically with ink or the letterpress method of woodcut. In his artistic work\, Danny Hermann navigates through the turbulence of a modern era in transition. He is particularly interested in the duality of artificial intelligence\, the ambivalence of social media and acute environmental problems – all topics that are on our doorstep and ready to invade our space. In his works\, the artist draws on a deep aesthetic that not only enriches his visual language but also characterises his approach to content. Danny Hermann finds inspiration in the emotionally charged works of Edward Munch\, Marianne von Werefkin and Wolfgang Petrick as well as in the influences of his former professor Ralf Kerbach.
