August zur Full Moon Gallery vorbei und entdecken Sie\, was sich hinter dem roten Vorhang befindet. \nTreten Sie ein in die strahlende und bezaubernde Ausstellung “Dance Mood”\, in der sich Kunst und Tanz unter dem mystischen Schein des Mondes miteinander verbinden. \nInspiriert durch ihre Arbeit als Maskenbildnerin an der Dresdner Semperoper stellt Ulrike Vogel in ihren Gemälden das harmonische Zusammenspiel von Leichtigkeit und Energie des Tanzes dar. \n  \nZur Künstlerin: \nUlrike Vogel wuchs in einer musikalischen Familie auf. Ab 1989 war sie Mitglied des Osterzgebirgischen Kunstvereins mit Johannes Zepnick\, einem freischaffenden Maler und Grafiker\, in Dippoldiswalde. Sie hatte persönliche Ausstellungen in den Jahren 1991 und 1992 in Dippoldiswalde. Von 1994 bis 1995 absolvierte sie im Rahmen ihres Studiums ein Praktikum in der Maskenbildnerei an der Semperoper in Dresden. Zwischen 1995 und 1999 studierte sie Maskenbild an der Hochschule für Bildende Künste Dresden und schloss das Studium erfolgreich ab. Im Jahr 1999 heiratete sie den Tänzer Hannes-Detlef Vogel und im selben Jahr wurde ihr Sohn Paul Luis geboren. 2001 kam ihr zweiter Sohn Hans Alfons zur Welt. Bis 2014 arbeitete sie als freiberufliche Maskenbildnerin\, seitdem ist sie festangestellte Maskenbildnerin an der Semperoper Dresden. \n”Der Tanz in seiner Leichtigkeit und Dynamik\, Kraft und Schönheit begeisterte mich schon als Kind. Tanz ist für mich die Komplettierung des Musikalischen Fühlens und kann alles ausdrücken. Er lässt Raum für Fantasie\, Poesie\, Gefühl und eigenes Denken. \nMeine erste engere Begegnung mit dem Tanz begann 1994 im Praktikum an der Semperoper\, wo ich jede Gelegenheit nutzte\, in meiner Freizeit\, im Ballettsaal die Tänzer*innen zu zeichnen. Daraus entstand einerseits eine künstlerisch- kooperative Arbeit mit einigen Tänzer*innen (TANZZEITLOSE) und andererseits die ersten Tanzölbilder. \nNach einer Unterbrechung habe ich 2019 mit dem Malen wieder angefangen\, meist inspiriert durch die Musik und die Choreografien\, die das Semperoper Ballett tanzt. \nIn meinen Bildern versuche ich mein Gefühl und meine Sicht auf die Verschiedenartigkeit im Tanz\, die scheinbare Leichtigkeit\, den unendlichen Fluss der Bewegungen\, die Dynamik\, Energie und Schönheit auszudrücken. August 2024 | 20:00 \nFull Moon Gallery \nEintritt frei! \n  \nEnglish ——– \n  \nOn August 18\, come to the Full Moon Gallery and discover what’s on the other side of the red curtain. \nStep into the spotlight of “Dance Mood” an captivating exhibition where art and dance intertwine under the moon’s mystical glow. \nInspired by her work as a make up artists at the Semper Opera in Dresden\, in her paintings\, Ulrike Vogel tries to capture the harmonious interplay between lightness and energy of dancing. \n  \nAbout the artist:  \nUlrike Vogel grew up in a musical family. From 1989 she was a member of the Osterzgebirgischer Kunstverein with Johannes Zepnick\, a freelance painter and graphic artist\, in Dippoldiswalde. She had personal exhibitions in Dippoldiswalde in 1991 and 1992. From 1994 to 1995\, she completed an internship in the make-up department at the Semperoper in Dresden as part of her studies. Between 1995 and 1999\, she studied make-up art at the Dresden University of Fine Arts and successfully completed her studies. In 1999 she married the dancer Hannes-Detlef Vogel and in the same year their son Paul Luis was born. Her second son Hans Alfons was born in 2001. She worked as a freelance make-up artist until 2014\, since when she has been a permanent make-up artist at the Semperoper Dresden. \n“Dance\, with its lightness and dynamism\, strength and beauty\, has inspired me since I was a child. For me\, dance is the completion of musical feeling and can express everything. It leaves room for imagination\, poetry\, feeling and your own thoughts. \nMy first close encounter with dance began in 1994 during an internship at the Semperoper\, where I took every opportunity to draw the dancers in the ballet hall in my free time. On the one hand\, this resulted in an artistic-cooperative work with some dancers (TANZZEITLOSE) and\, on the other hand\, the first dance oil paintings. \nAfter a break\, I started painting again in 2019\, mostly inspired by the music and choreographies danced by the Semperoper Ballett. \nIn my paintings\, I try to express my feelings and my view of the diversity in dance\, the apparent lightness\, the endless flow of movement\, the dynamism\, energy and beauty. Colour plays a major role in this for me. Ihre Musik ist eine lebendige Verschmelzung von Cumbia Chicha\, kolumbianischer Cumbia\, Forró\, Afro Samba und Reggae. Sometimes scratchy\, sometimes whining\, the sound of a blonde Gretsch guitar echoes over this nostalgic sound. Rock’n roll is back! Music that makes you happy! They have fished up a lot of ska and prepared it for you with a fat groove on smacking organ and delicate percussion. Sharp brass sections are added and the whole thing is cooked up into a hot stage performance. The by-catch is reggae\, soul and fine interpretations of jazz standards and pop songs that will delight the palate accustomed to ska.
