DESCRIPTION:DE \n  \nDie Full Moon Gallery zeigt im März unter dem Titel DIE VIER ELEMENTE eine Werkschau der Künstlerin Jana Pommer-Semper\, welche am 11. März feierlich zum Vollmond eröffnet wird. \nDie Frage nach dem Wesen der Welt\, dem\, was auf immer Bestand hat\, sind uralte Menschheitsfragen. Nur vier Elemente brauchten die alten Griechen\, um die Welt zu erklären. Die diesbezüglichen Betrachtungen von Aristoteles und Platon hatten bis ins 18. Jahrhundert Bestand. Glaubt man Jana Pommer-Semper\, wird heute unser Wissen durch Forschung und Wissenschaft zwar größer\, doch entfernt das sogenannte Wissen uns fortwährend von der direkten Verbindung zur Natur. Vieles weist daraufhin\, dass alles unter einer Herrschaft der vier Elemente steht: 4 Temperamente\, 4 Körpersäfte\, 4 Jahreszeiten. Unterschiedlich gemischt können sie die ganze Welt abbilden. Aus diesen\, ewig und unabänderlich existierend\, entwickelt sich das große Ordnungsprinzip unseres abendländischen Denkens und wird erst durch die neuzeitliche Wissenschaft entwertet. \nMit der Serie „Die vier Elemente“\, möchte die Künstlerin ihre Wertschätzung gegenüber den begrenzten Schätzen unserer Erde ausdrücken\, sich auf das mythologische Verständnis rückbesinnen\, welches von Dankbarkeit und Verehrung geprägt war und dem inneren Wissen darum\, dass die Elemente immer auch mit Klima\, Wetter und ihrer Zerstörungskraft in Verbindung gebracht wurden. Es ist der Kontrast zweier verschiedener Welten\, der Jana Pommer-Semper interessiert\, das Verhältnis zwischen natürlichem Material und synthetischen Farben\, sowie der Darstellung vielschichtiger durchgearbeiteter Flächen gegenüber der Klarheit. \n  \nEN \n  \nIn March\, the Full Moon Gallery will present the exhibition by the artist Jana Pommer-Semper entitled THE FOUR ELEMENTS\, which will be celebrated on the occasion of the full moon on 11 March. \nThe question of the essence of the world\, that which endures forever\, are ancient questions of humanity. It took the ancient Greeks only four elements to explain the world. Aristotle’s and Plato’s reflections in this regard lasted until the 18th century. If Jana Pommer-Semper is to be believed\, today our knowledge is increasing through research and science\, but so-called knowledge is continually distancing us from the direct connection to nature. Much points to the fact that everything is under the rule of the four elements: 4 temperaments\, 4 humours\, 4 seasons. Mixed in different ways\, they can represent the whole world. From these\, eternally and unchangeably existing\, the great principle of order of our occidental thinking develops and is only devalued by modern science. \nWith the series “The Four Elements”\, the artist wants to express her appreciation of the limited treasures of our earth\, to recall the mythological understanding\, which was characterised by gratitude and veneration and the inner knowledge that the elements have always been associated with climate\, weather and their destructive power. It is the contrast of two different worlds that interests Jana Pommer-Semper\, the relationship between natural material and synthetic colours\, as well as the depiction of multi-layered worked-through surfaces versus clarity.

Thematische Grundlage der erstmals gezeigten Sammlung ist die Entfremdung der Menschheit von ihren natürlichen Ursprüngen\, verursacht durch den vorherrschenden Konsumzwang und die permanente Reizüberflutung in unserer Gesellschaft. Der Mensch hat das Verständnis für die ursprüngliche\, natürliche Einstellung zum Leben verloren\, was zu seiner Zerstörung geführt hat und weiterhin führt. Dieses Verhalten erfordert nun als Reaktion einen schnellen und intensiven Natur- und Tierschutz. Diese Gedanken spiegeln sich in der multimedialen Kunst wider\, die Gemälde\, Kapuzenpullover und Fotografien umfasst. Mit der Kleidung wählt Laura Michelle Schubert eine unkonventionelle Form der Informationsweitergabe\, denn durch das Entwerfen und Tragen der Kapuzenpullis in der Öffentlichkeit erreichen diese Gedanken die Gesellschaft ohne Aufhebens und größeren Aufwand. Mit der “save me.” – Kollektion möchte die Künstlerin das Engagement und die Weiterentwicklung von Verhalten und Verständnis gegenüber der Natur fördern\, die für die Existenz der Menschheit erhalten werden muss. \n  \n6. The thematic basis of the collection shown for the first time is the alienation of humankind from its natural origins\, caused by the prevailing compulsion to consume and the permanent sensory overload in our society. Man has lost the understanding of the original\, natural attitude to life\, which has led and continues to lead to its destruction. This behaviour now requires rapid and intensive nature and animal protection as a reaction. These thoughts are reflected in the multimedia art\, which includes paintings\, hoodies and photography. With the clothes\, Laura Michelle Schubert chooses an unconventional form of passing on information\, because by designing and wearing the hoodies in public\, these thoughts reach society without fuss and greater effort. Die Jam Session findet jeden Donnerstag ab 18:30 Uhr statt und jeden letzten Donnerstag im Monat gibt es ab 20 Uhr ein Jam Session Konzert in der KulturCentrale.\nInternationale und lokale Musiker treten live auf unserer Bühne auf und freuen sich über jeden kreativen Beitrag\, sei es ein Maultrommel-Solo\, eine Coverversion ihres Lieblingssongs oder eine spontane musikalische Einlage.
