SUMMARY:WER BIN ICH? – Ausstellung von Dorothee Kuhbandner
DESCRIPTION:Dorothee Kuhbandner wurde 1964 als Dorothee Friedrich geboren\, wuchs behütet auf und ging ihren eigenen Weg. Seit ihrer Kindheit drückt sie sich durch Bilder aus und verarbeitet Erlebnisse\, Gefühle und Gedanken in Farbe und Form. \nDer Inhalt ihrer Arbeiten erschließt sich nicht immer auf den ersten Blick. „Was willst du mit dem Bild sagen? Was stellt es dar?“ wird sie oft gefragt. Eine einfache Antwort fällt schwer\, denn Worte sind nicht ihr Medium – sie malt. \n  \n„Die Handschrift von Dorothee Kuhbandner wirkt oft magisch-expressiv\, lässt sich in kein Schubfach schieben. Bemerkenswert sind die leuchtende Farbigkeit und der ungezähmte Strich\, in dem die Figur Gestalt annimmt. Scherzhaft spricht sie von ihrem ‚Dorealismus‘.“\n— Heinz Weißflog († 2013) \n  \n„Es sind die Umwege\, die einen Menschen am schnellsten zum Ziel führen; Etappenorte sind und bleiben existenziell.“ \n— Thomas Gerlach\, Radebeul \n  \nDorothee Kuhbandner hatte und hat viele Etappen in ihrem Leben: Buchbinderin\, Krankenschwester\, Mutter von vier Söhnen\, Galeristin\, Managerin… Lebenskünstlerin. Sie hat kein Kunststudium absolviert und ließ sich nie in vorgegebene Bahnen lenken. Since childhood\, she has expressed herself through images and processed experiences\, feelings and thoughts in colour and form. \nThe content of her work is not always apparent at first glance. ‘What are you trying to say with the picture? What does it represent?’ she is often asked. It is difficult to give a simple answer\, because words are not her medium – she paints. \n  \n‘Dorothee Kuhbandner’s style often seems magically expressive and cannot be pigeonholed. The bright colours and untamed strokes in which the figures take shape are remarkable. SUMMARY:FENSTER & PORTRÄTS – Ausstellung von Svetlana Petrasch
DESCRIPTION:Gesichter haben Svetlana Petrasch schon als Kind fasziniert. Stundenlang betrachtete sie Porträts in Zeitschriften und brachte sie aufs Papier. Mit der Zeit kam die Leidenschaft hinzu\, nicht nur Gesichtszüge\, sondern auch Emotionen sichtbar zu machen. „Die Augen sind der Spiegel der Seele“\, sagt sie – und was sind dann die Fenster? Vielleicht die Seele des Hauses. \nSo begann sie vor einigen Jahren\, auch Fenster zu malen. Beim abendlichen Spaziergang durch vertraute oder neue Gassen blickt sie hinein\, stellt sich vor\, welche Menschen dort leben\, und verwandelt ihre Eindrücke in Bilder. Für sie sind Fenster wie Spiegelungen von Menschen – jedes erzählt seine eigene Geschichte\, sein eigenes kleines Leben. \nDie Künstlerin wurde im russischen Pensa geboren\, studierte Klassische Malerei und Kunstpädagogik (1994–1999) und arbeitete viele Jahre als freischaffende Malerin in Russland – vor allem im Bereich Porträt- und Wandmalerei. Ein besonderes Projekt führte sie in die Nähe von Moskau\, wo sie mehrere Jahre an der Wandgestaltung einer Klosterkirche im Stil klassischer Ikonen beteiligt war. \nSeit 2019 lebt Svetlana Petrasch in Dresden\, wo sie als Auftragsmalerin und Kunstpädagogin tätig ist. Ihre Arbeiten – von Porträts und Landschaften bis hin zu großflächigen Wandbildern – zeichnen sich durch eine positive\, farbenfrohe Sicht auf die Welt aus. \n  \nVom 5. November bis 4. Dezember 2025 zeigt die FULL MOON GALLERY\, der Kunstraum des Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e. She would spend hours looking at portraits in magazines and drawing them on paper. Over time\, she developed a passion for capturing not only facial features\, but also emotions. ‘The eyes are the mirror of the soul\,’ she says – so what are the windows? Perhaps the soul of the house. \n  \nSo a few years ago\, she began painting windows as well. During her evening walks through familiar or new alleys\, she looks inside\, imagines the people who live there\, and transforms her impressions into pictures. For her\, windows are like reflections of people – each one tells its own story\, its own little life. \nThe artist was born in Penza\, Russia\, studied classical painting and art education (1994–1999) and worked for many years as a freelance painter in Russia – mainly in the field of portrait and mural painting. A special project took her to the Moscow area\, where she spent several years working on the mural design of a monastery church in the style of classical icons. \nSince 2019\, Svetlana Petrasch has been living in Dresden\, where she works as a commissioned painter and art teacher. Her works – from portraits and landscapes to large-scale murals – are characterised by a positive\, colourful view of the world. \n  \nFrom 5 November to 4 December 2025\, the FULL MOON GALLERY\, the art space of the Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.
