Standing Together Against Gender-Based Violence in KulturCentrale

  |   Events, News

On 11 March, we hosted an insightful and engaging piloting session at KulturCentrale as part of the ManUp4Her project. Building on the themes we’ve explored in our e-books and podcasts, this session focused on putting knowledge into action through interactive learning.

We introduced the ManUp4Her project, highlighting its innovative approach and methods. The piloting gave us the opportunity to present the research conducted on the Ebook “Gender-Based Violence:The Complete Blueprint,” which covers the definition of gender-based violence throughout history, different types and causes, its impact, and the environments where GBV occurs.

Since JKPeV developed the chapter on environments with a special focus on family/home, the workplace, and public spaces, this piloting session shared our findings and the tools available to deepen public knowledge—including our e-books and podcasts.

We then reinforced the knowledge acquired through an interactive discussion and exchange. Using non-formal education techniques and scenario-based exercises, attendees had the opportunity to discuss GBV in relation to their experiences and perspectives.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated! Your engagement, questions, and shared experiences made this workshop truly impactful. Together, we can create safer spaces and drive real change!
