Refashionized Final Meeting in Dresden: Fashion Sustainability Doesn’t Stop—It Evolves!

  |   News

On 19-20 May, the Refashionized project team gathered in Dresden, Germany for our 4th and final Transnational Project Meeting, hosted by Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.V. at KulturCentrale.

This milestone meeting marked the culmination of months of collaboration and creative work. Together, we are finalising the Learner’s Corner—a dynamic hub of free, interactive resources designed to empower and inspire young people aged 16+ to learn about the history and evolution of fashion as well as impact on society, the environment, and animal welfare with focus on the 20th and the 21st centuries and engage with sustainable fashion in fun, practical, and meaningful ways.

During the meeting, we discussed the finalisation of the Trainer’s Corner:

  • A fun & educational online game with 200+ fact-checked questions on fashion’s environmental impact, production phases, and sustainable practices.
  • A free e-learning course on fashion history and sustainable fashion hosted by the UPVx platform. The Refashionized online course includes interactive Genial.ly presentations, fun activities to learn key sustainable fashion terms and quizzes to test the learners’ knowledge after the completion of each unit.
  • “How to upcycle” videos teaching easy-to-follow upcycling techniques
  • Create Your Fashion Portfolio – a practical guide to turn your creative, eco-fashion ideas into real, impactful projects
  • The meeting also allowed us to reflect on what we have achieved and define the final steps to make these tools as accessible, relevant, and engaging as possible.
  • Young people’s voices matter—we’re actively incorporating their ideas to shape our tools and resources.
We’ll soon be hosting local workshops and events in Dreden, Larissa, Nicosia, Prato, Thessaloniki, and Valencia where you will get an exclusive first look at everything we have developed!
