Opening of the exhibition “FREAKSHOW” by Margarita Zakaryan
On the 1st of May, art enthusiasts flocked to the Full Moon Gallery to have a look at Margarita Zakaryan’s mind-bending photography. Zakaryan’s work grapples with many themes, particularly time, ageing, and obsolescence.
Zakaryan’s work draws its viewers into the spaces it depicts, and it invites them to rethink the familiar.
Guests had the chance to meet Zakaryan and learn about her creative process, and to puzzle over her shots of Dresden and of various curious objects. The opening was lively and social, setting a terrific tone for the rest of the exhibition.
